The guy that I replaced told the senior management that you need to hire more people to work at the facility. So, the company promoted inept managers and created think tank groups. When I attended an off site meeting with SES engineers, we were all frustrated in the "Burger King...have it your way" direction. The engineers wanted to work with one, maybe two encryption systems, middleware that was not crap, and one brand of set top box. Can you see why this project failed? John,
